The PSAT/NMSQT will be facilitated on the Nease High School campus this upcoming Wednesday, October 22nd. As a reminder, all 10th Grade students will sit for the PSAT.  Only 9th and 11th Grade students who have ALREADY paid to take the PSAT/NMSQT will participate.  If your student WILL BE TAKING the PSAT/NMSQT, please take a moment to review this message.

To provide the best testing environment for students and to have enough teachers to administer the exams, students NOT TESTING have the option to take a digital learning day from home. Students will be notified by their individual teachers of any assignments for the day.  Students not taking the PSAT who choose to attend school, will sit in the cafeteria the entire school day.

If your student is testing, please use the grade level links below to find your child’s assigned testing room. Students need to report directly to their assigned room no later than 9:35am.

To participate in the test, STUDENTS MUST HAVE A PHOTO ID.  Students are allowed to bring their own calculators but it must be on the following APPROVED College Board list.  Students will be testing on a computer until 1:00pm. There will be one 10-minute break. Students should bring a small snack and water.

The PSAT/NMSQT will end at approximately 1:00pm.  Please note that students who have been approved for extended time by College Board (i.e. 1.5x, 2x) may end later, but all students will be done testing by 3:05pm on the day.

At 1:00pm, students will be released from testing for lunch or dismissal IF they have the early release form with parent signature to submit at the student gate to leave campus.  Parents WILL NOT be required to enter the building to sign-out their students.   Further, parents WILL NOT be required to complete an “Early Checkout Form” (this form will be turned off on Tuesday, October 21 at 4pm). Walkers, bikers, and student drivers who have the signed dismissal paper below may exit campus once testing has concluded.

  • CLICK HERE>> for the REQUIRED Early Release Form (please print and sign!)

Students that stay will report to 7th period after lunch for a normal Wed 3:05pm dismissal.

We will NOT check-out students through the main office or through the early dismissal online form, so please print and sign the EARLY RELEASE FORM and ensure your child has the signed form on them Wednesday to submit at the gate to leave campus.

Since seniors and most juniors are not on campus on Wednesday, we will allow students who don’t have a tag but can drive to park in the student parking lot. PLEASE drive safely.

Deadline for 9th & 11th to register is Sunday, September 14, 2025. There are NO exceptions to this deadline as the exam is now computer-based and College Board has a hard deadline for schools to register.
