Course requests are always visible in the student HAC account.&nbsp; The requests and schedule are updated as administration works through the automated link throughout the summer.&nbsp; In later July, the student schedule will be viewable in the student HAC account to view for a period of time. (For example: You took Spanish 1 last year, but Spanish 2 is missing on your schedule.)<\/li><li>Dual enrollment course time conflicts with NHS schedule.<\/li><\/ul><p>*All other requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis but will denied if they do not meet the above criteria.<\/p><p>The following requests will NOT be honored:<\/p><ul><li>Teacher change requests will not be honored unless the student previously earned a D\/F with that teacher.<\/li><li>Students may not drop a class to take the same class through a virtual school.<\/li><li>Students may not request changes to class period<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-2843f4e elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"2843f4e\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-a34cfac\" data-id=\"a34cfac\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-59dacba elementor-invisible elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"59dacba\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;fadeInDown&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Transferring out of Honors or AP Courses During the School Year<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-8e49f05 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"8e49f05\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-d2d2f1c\" data-id=\"d2d2f1c\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b1aa4bd elementor-invisible elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b1aa4bd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_animation&quot;:&quot;fadeInDown&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Students may request a course transfer <u>at the end of the semester<\/u>, only if <u>all<\/u> the following conditions have been met:<\/p><ul><li>a grade of D or F<\/li><li>completion of a parent conference<\/li><li>demonstration of the student seeking <u>consistent<\/u> academic assistance throughout the semester, and<\/li><li>space available in a comparable course<\/li><\/ul><p>If a student is enrolled in a <strong>half<\/strong>-credit course, the student may request a schedule change at the end of the quarter and only if <u>all<\/u> the following conditions have been met:<\/p><ul><li>a grade of D or F<\/li><li>completion of a parent conference,<\/li><li>demonstration of the student seeking <u>consistent<\/u> academic assistance throughout the 9 weeks.<\/li><li>space available in a comparable course<\/li><\/ul><p><u>Additional Parameters:<\/u><\/p><ul><li>Transferring from a standard level course to another standard level course will not be permitted because it is not a level change and would be considered a teacher preference issue.<\/li><li>Students may not drop a class to take the <strong>same<\/strong> class through virtual school.<\/li><li>Placement based on FSA\/EOC scores may supersede request.<\/li><li>Requests will be honored based on availability.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Course Review Process: Course requests will available via Home Access (HAC) before the student&#8217;s registration appointment for the year.
